Hi,
I received my XT yesterday, super sounds and easy to build new ones from scratch. I was looking for the XT for a long time. Now having it I have problems to control it with my Yamaha Motif XS 6. I have linked the Midi out from Motif to the Midi in at the XT.
How can I tempo synchronize it to my Motif? I hear the arp sounds or drum kits out of the XT completely playing only when I turn the clock source to INT at the XT. My Motif is sending midi clock signal.
Can anybody help me give the right configuration for the XT? Same with synchronizing it with my Cubase. I can not control the arp-sounds etc. of the XT when choosing clock source USBMIDI...
Appologize my English.

To play the arp from an external keyboard, I think you need to turn on the "remote keyboard switch" on the XT.

Hi,
I solved the problem. Had to configure my Motif to Midi "Internal" and Externel Midi Clock to "on". V-Synth XT clock setting I had to adjust to "Midi". Now everything works just fine.
Greetings
